Positive: The house sits right on the reservoir in very isolated countryside. The feel of the house and its surroundings make it so easy to fully switch off from everyday life and relax. The interior decor is exceptional with a nice balance of new and old features. The rooms are all a good size but the king sized room at the end of the corridor is extremely special, including a free-standing copper-plated bath. Overall, I would recommend Skyfell to anyone and can't wait to return with my family.

Positive: Skyfell cottage is a stunning place to have a relaxing getaway, it’s fully equipment, clean and very homely. Jerry who looks after the cottages was amazing and very welcoming he was always there if you needed anything. Would highly recommend and will defiantly be returning.

Positive: Very well equipped for a family of 7. Cooking facilities were great. The hot tub was great

Negative: The property was lovely. Only problem we had our car was a low Audi convertible and driving to it was very difficult as the road is so bumpy

Positive: Skyfell is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in. The views from every aspect are stunning. The location is great and the walk around the reservoir is a must. The interior of the cottage was clean and welcoming. We loved the kitchen diner with the open log burner and spent most of our time around the dining table eating, drinking and playing games from the cupboard! A welcoming bottle of bubbles to enjoy in the hot tub was a great touch, we will definitely be back.

Negative: The hot tub is beautiful if you can keep it warm! Because we were out most of the day, we struggled to keep it as hot as we needed for the evening soak. It didn’t stop us using it tho, still a great part of our holiday.
