Beautiful New England farmhouse with brand new kitchen and bathroom. Fully restored and freshly painted 4 bedrooms, spacious fully-stocked kitchen, large dining room, comfortable living room with new smart tv, cozy attached sitting room. Home is nestled on one acre with a fenced in yard (bring your pup!) and attached barn. This is quintessential Vermont!
Short drive to Smugglers Notch Ski Resort. Close to St. Albans restaurants, less than an hour from Burlington and gorgeous Lake Champlain. In the warmer months enjoy nearby hiking, kayaking, fishing. And of course the fall foliage!

Summary: Everything was excellent. Property was just as advertised and super clean.’Itnis a perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities. Situated within easy drive to Jay Peak, Smugglers Notch, and Stowe ski areas and just a quick drive from I89 and St Albans. The house and town of Bakersfield are everything you read about ‘quintessential Vermont’. Carrie was great to communicate with as well. Highly recommend this property!

Summary: Stayed at this property for the weekend to go snowboarding at Snuggs and Jay Peak and couldn’t have asked for a better time! Smuggs was about 15 mins away and Jay’s was 45 so it was the perfect in between! The house was fully stocked and Carrie was great to communicate with! Would definitely stay again.

Summary: Couldn’t be happier with our stay! Of the many vacation homes I’ve rented over the years, this was by far the cleanest home—which is especially appreciated during Covid. Plenty of space. Great mix of old farmhouse and modern amenities. Little touches, including complimentary local maple syrup and guestbook, made it a memorable stay. Mid-October turned out to be ideal leaf peeping for this area. Also nearby, about a dozen covered bridges, making for some lovely fall, country drives.

Summary: We had a really lovely stay over Christmas! The house is welcoming and comfortable, with great antique charm mixed with modern comforts (the bathrooom is new and sparkling clean). We slept like babies and woke up to pretty fat snowflakes outside the bright breakfast nook. Our dog got to romp in the fenced backyard which was so convenient. Carrie was so nice to work with as well. A great stay!

Summary: beautiful home, roomy with 4 bedrooms yet cozy. old antiques mixed with new. very clean and all new linens. kitchen and sliding barn door super cool! also attached barn adds to the Vermont charm.
