“Our family really enjoyed our stay! The location was great, and the rental itself was clean, comfortable, and had a cozy, homey feel. The kids loved having space to run around in the fenced-in backyard, and we especially enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit in the evening. Communication with the host was excellent—They were very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Summary: Our family enjoyed our stay in Hidden Valley. The house was easy to find and get in to. The space inside was very nice, appreciated the little extra things here and there like cozy throw blankets. I personally think the photos on the listing do not do it justice - the bathroom was much roomier than expected and we didn’t even realize there would be a sizeable deck. Sharing 1 bathroom with a big family gets difficult but we knew that when we booked so it worked out well enough for just a couple days. My only real complaint about inside was the master bed; the mattress seems old - very soft and sinks into the middle. So I did not sleep very well. We were disappointed that we were not able to use the fire pit due to a fire ban in the area, so we ended up not really exploring the outside of the property. Over all though, we had a great time here. The location is nice, we were able to spend a day in Algonquin Park and also spent half a day canoeing on Oxtongue River. Plenty of adventurous things to do around there! We would recommend this place.

Summary: The location was great. Wifi was great. Had all that was needed in the kitchen. This property did not have a bathroom on the bedrooms level and stairs were steep and narrow. The tv could not be used unless you knew how to operate apps and cast them to the tv. We were not able to watch it. I would not recommend it unless you have no problems climbing stairs. Not recommended for seniors with any mobility issues. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was good which was lucky because we had to stay inside because the septic smell was very strong outside. On a good note the wedding we attended was lovely.

Summary: I would definitely book this cottage again. We were at a wedding in the area so the location was perfect. Our family of 4 had lots of room to get ready. Both the living room and the kitchen was perfect for hanging out. If it didn’t rain all weekend we would have made use of the outdoor deck and backyard fire pit. I’m really happy we found this cottage.
