Positive: The location is perfect to explore DC. Metro so convenient and inexpensive. Dupont Circle has a lot of great restaurant choices within walking distance.

Negative: moved from a larger well arranged room to a smaller room due to loud a/c machine noise. light sleeper.

Summary: would stay again.. great boutique hotel.

Positive: Great location, 1 min from the subway. Super friendly staff, and very big rooms for such a central hotel.

Negative: While it may not be like this every weekend, the music from the hotel bar was really loud for 2/3 nights there, even though we were on an upper floor. I think they had a holiday party.. but for the price, I’d expect better sound proofing of their own building. That’s the only reason I didn’t give a 10/10

Negative: The noise. Every night the roof top bar would play very loud music, the base was relentless. Impossible to sleep. The staff was very accommodating and switched us to another room. Unfortunately at the second room we could hear the music from the speakeasy or another music area. They played the base also terribly loud. This time it was made worse by the drunk revelers screaming outside. We also heard cars honking on and on. To make matters worse some drunk people came inside and started screaming in the hallway. Really too bad because the hotel is otherwise excellent.

Positive: Wow. Our stay here was amazing. The staff made us feel very welcome and they were so kind. Jake looked after us in two of their three bars and he was great fun. The hotel is extremely clean and is located in a cool neighborhood, not far from the main sites in DC. Would highly recommend.
