The lush green plants were vibrant and soothing—this hotel is practically Dali’s own Grand Budapest Hotel. With its top-tier standards and rich retro style, every corner feels like a movie scene! The cleanliness here is impeccable—the room is spotless, and even the air smells lightly fragrant. The bedding is absolutely amazing, featuring fully customized high-end mattresses and zero-pressure pillows. Lying down feels like being wrapped in clouds, taking sleep quality to the next level! What truly amazed me was the rooftop viewing deck, where you can see the Cangshan Mountains. At night, you can even stargaze from the terrace—instantly healing your mood. Plus, the homestay’s location is fantastic: right in Dali Ancient Town and within walking distance of all the attractions! Oh, and they also offer free parking. All in all, this homestay is a perfect first stop for your Dali adventure!

The in-room minibar featured complimentary drinks, and the bathroom amenities were by Ferragamo. Breakfast showcased great local character, especially the tasty handmade rice noodles. The room was equipped with both air conditioning and heating, and the design aesthetic skillfully blended retro and colonial Southeast Asian elements. A Jo Malone room fragrance added a delightful scent throughout. The hotel's third floor boasts a large terrace with direct views of the Cangshan Mountains. Waking up early, you might even be lucky enough to witness the sun turning the mountaintops golden ("sunlit golden mountains").
