This recently built architect-designed home is ideally located in the center of the GUÉRANDE peninsula. The salt-farmers’ village of CLIS overlooks the salt marshes, which are 1 km away.

From the house, you can go for a walk on the hillsides overlooking the salt marshes or access the “Vélocean” bike path just 100 m away, which will take you around the Guérande peninsula.
Choose your beach based on what you’re in the mood for—all within 15 minutes of the house (surfing at La Govelle, sailing club at Le Pouliguen, beachcombing at La Turballe, kids’ club at Pornichet or La Baule).
The village of CLIS is ideally located for visiting all the sites on the peninsula (the Brière Marshes, the wild coastline and the Croisic Oceanarium, the medieval town and salt marshes of GUERANDE, nightlife and entertainment in LA BAULE, and the charming small towns of BATZ-SUR-MER, PIRIAC, LE CROISIC, and LA ROCHE-BERNARD).
Finally, if you’d like to organize a family celebration (family reunion, wedding, christening, etc.), you can rent the village community hall “Les Perrières” and stay for a weekend or a week’s vacation in our three accommodations located 100 meters from the hall (sleeps up to 26).

Summary: We stayed for two weeks in this house, and it was well supplied and clean. We had a comfortable stay and there was plenty of room for us all. The BBQ broke but the owner lent us his for the rest of the stay. He also supplied beach items for the children to borrow. Please note though, that the pool is not on site. It is within the owners home, which is over the road. We were welcome to use it 6 out of 7 days of the week but often the pool was occupied by family and friends of the owner so we did not feel comfortable using the pool freely. This was a downside to our vacation but when used, the pool was great.

Summary: We had a really nice holiday, the house is very nice with a large living area. Owners are very nice and helpfull. Kitchen has got everything you need and there is an outdoor bbq. Beach and town are only 15 min drive and this is one if the best beaches we ever seen , very clean and it’s massive ( about 10km long)
