From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was calm and friendly, exactly what you want after a long journey or a busy day exploring Moshi. The staff deserve special mention. Everyone was kind, respectful, and always smiling. They made an effort to check in on how my stay was going and were happy to help with directions, transport, or simple local advice. Nothing felt forced or “hotel-scripted” it was real hospitality, and that makes a big difference. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet at night, and everything I needed was there. Housekeeping did a great job, and I always came back to a fresh, tidy room. The lodge itself is nicely laid out, with a peaceful environment that makes it easy to relax, read, or just enjoy the surroundings. One thing I really appreciated was how calm and safe the place felt. After busy days in town, coming back to Sisama Lodge felt like stepping into a small retreat.
