Positive: Lovely place, beautify panoramic views of ocean & mountain. Lovely pool & the food was great too (we pre ordered). Lovely quiet stay, away from it all. Nice rooms & facilities very comfy. And the hosts charming, the dogs & cats very friendly too.

Negative: As it’s remote, be aware the location to arrive via Grab isn’t correct - but if you ask your driver to use Google Maps it works perfectly! Arriving in daylight recommended.

Positive: From the moment we got to the cottage the owners and staff were so welcoming and friendly, we felt right at home. The views from the pool area are amazing especially at sunset. So relaxing sitting around the pool with the sound of the rainforest during the day, and the pool is very clean so great for a swim when it gets too hot. After spending a long time in Asia we love to cook meals that we miss from home so the outdoor kitchen with the BBQ was perfect for us ☺️ My partner and I spent our 10 year anniversary here and honestly, I don’t think we could have picked a better place. They hung a happy anniversary sign in our room and even made us a delicious cake! We went on a hike to the waterfall in the nearby national park and all their dogs came along for the hike which made it even more enjoyable!! Can’t fault this place at all, if we are ever in Borneo again no doubt we will return.

Positive: We stayed at Sinurambi for 4 nights at the end of a 3 week trip to Sabah. It was the perfect way to end our holiday! Rose and Terry went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. They are excellent hosts and their property is wonderful. Great views and swimming pool plus a handy location near the entrance of the national park. Our children loved the friendly, family dogs (who are all so well looked after and immunised). We would stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends!

Positive: Everything is fantastic. It is only 30-40 minutes drive from the town but the vie is so much different. You can see the village, the jungle the city and the sea from the platform. It is breathtaking experience when I saw the sun cast the last light upon the islands and the city stars start to shine. The staff took good care of me when I didn’t feel well.
