Positive: This is a lovely and spacious apartment of 3 rooms (living room, bedroom, and front room) as well as a kitchen, bathroom and nice outside porch. The kitchen is well-equipped, there's a well-functioning air conditioner in the bedroom, hot water in the bathroom, and it's very comfortable and sufficient for 2 or 3 people. There's cleaning available by a maid about once or twice a week as needed, and a washing machine is available for laundry. The host, Aparna - and her friends, family, and housekeeper -- are amazingly warm, hospitable, and kind. I could reach them at any time during my stay, and they extended themselves to me in ways beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend the apartment.

Negative: I knew this before arrival but the location is around 5 or 6 km from the downtown area. I assumed I'd be able to commute by bus but this proved impossible. If you have a car or scooter, this will not be an issue. There are taxis of course but it can be tricky to ride them regularly at an affordable rate. This is also a feature of the neighborhood not the fault of the host: the electricity crashed or went down for a little while during the days sometimes. Tere are some barking dogs at night or mornings but the neighborhood is otherwise quiet. There are bugs and mosquitos in some seasons. It's a nice place, and the host will be sure you have a nice stay.

Positive: A very great place to stay....for both couple and family. Kind hearted owner 😊. Area was very silent no issues with parking too. A recommend place to stay in Pondicherry.

Negative: since it is residential area,restaurants are not in walking distance if you have own vehicle, this is not really a concern.

Summary: big shout out to the host and she takes good care of the guests and property.

Positive: This Home stay is fantastic 😍 Litterlay you feel like you are staying in you own house. This stay is kind of a home feel, you have a spacious Hall and dinning hall with dinning table. And a spacious bed room with AC and Fan. The room is attached with toilet. Also room includes dressing mirror as well. You have a cool balcony arranged with charis, where you can sit and sip a cup of tea. The care taker Aparna treats the guest with very polite and professional manner. 💯 This was my 5th time visit to Pondicherry, I can tell this was the best stay during all my earlier visit. Thanks Aparna !! Stayed Aug 12th to 15th Aug. Married couples
