Positive: Beautiful property. Well maintained. If you are with elderly family, just have to remember that there are quite a few stairs to to get to your room. In house breakfast was amazing as well.

Positive: We stayed at Simroseate Hotel in Goa for nine nights over Boxing Day through New Year’s, and it was absolutely perfect. We didn't want to leave! I have been to Goa many times and this by far my favourite hotel. Our room was so amazing - huge and super comfortable, with a Jacuzzi!! And having our own private pool and outdoor shower was such an enormous and luxurious treat! The location was spot on, away from the busy beach front hotels and a great jumping off point to all the amazing beaches the area has to offer. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful, they really made our stay - we loved every minute and will definitely be back!

Positive: Secluded with amazing views yet only 5 minutes from Agonda and surrounding beaches. Private and intimate and the decor of the hotel and villas are simply gorgeous! Think intricately designed wooden panelling, refurbished chic antique cupboards and heavy old carved front doors. The views over look the jungle and forest for miles in every direction and the sunset views from the rooms are to die for. The bedrooms are huge! The beds the most comfortable we have slept in (far better than the Taj Palace and most hotels in Europe) The service was also wonderful! This hotel has thought of every detail and has the right staff to execute a superior level of service and high quality experience.

Positive: The surroundings were tranquil and relaxing. The accommodation was very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The restaurant staff, Gopichan and Nikhil were excellent!

Positive: Jacuzzi and bathrooms were clean. Sufficient towels were kept.

Negative: There was monkey shit in pool, but they responded immediately when asked to clean. Cool drinks were over priced. They charged 120/- for 200ml coke. Rest was all good.

Positive: The location and property were second to none and so beautiful. Such a peaceful location and felt like royalty. Food was also delicious.

Negative: Service could have been better - definitely not up to the 5 star prices that were paid in off season. Food took a very long time despite giving early orders and water pressure was very low. Electricity kept tripping which was a disturbance at night as the AC unit kept making a sound every time it went off. Floors were very slippery on the steps. Need to be careful, especially with children.

Summary: Royal experience in the middle of a forest.
