Summary: The property had such an incredible view of an isolated beach. Truely something so very special; hearing the waves crash, visits from wifelife (wallaby), silver icu water crashing views. The property requires about a 20minute drive down a dirt road. I had read previous comments about this but this was a little longer than I had anticipated. The road needs grading and has many pot holes so you can only go about 20km/hr in sections. This meant we did not go into town needlessly. We planned to minimise the number of times we had to drive on the road. We live on a dirt road so this is something we are used to. Other than that it was perfect. Not too far from some hiking spots and good cafes on the main road. A washing machine would be super helpful. A very special little place.

Summary: Robb from Suitespace was really helpful, and our stay was delightful. This is a lovely out of the way location with easy but steep-ish beach access and only the lovely sound of the ocean to disturb the night. Come prepared as others have mentioned and enjoy the delights of this place.

Summary: Magnificent views after a bumpy drive in, 4wd recommended, though we managed with a low Corolla rental but it was a slow trip, but worth it for the view. We were disappointed there was no coffee maker given the distance from cafes and a pair of tongs in the kitchen would be handy. There is also no laundry. Glens review below is vey accurate, could only add the above. Don’t be deterred as it is an exquisite place to be and very relaxing.

Summary: The location of this one bedroom beach house is its great strength but also poses challenges, especially with regard to road access, food and drink provisions and TV, internet or phone reception. Situated on a higher point with fabulous 180 degree ocean views & between two beautiful white sand beaches (next to private land) there are few other locations like this. Pristine sands, turquoise water, interesting geological rock pools & the continual sound of waves are your sources of recreation. Access to the beaches is by a short but steepish sand-dune path. On cooler days, the well insulated house can be warmed by the wood heater, you might briefly interrupt your lounge room reading in the comfy chairs to peruse the everchanging sea views. Although sparse in decor, linen is good quality, the solar powered & gas services suitably adequate & the bed is very comfortable. There is no microwave or other devices that require electricity to heat. There are no food provisions provided at the house, not even UHT milk. Plan to bring all food, drink and supplies you will need for your stay with you, as it is time consuming and challenging to drive to & from the nearest towns due to the poor road access. The 6km single lane sandy bush track from the highway to the house is full of large potholes, tree roots, rocks and ruts, requiring a snail’s pace & much concentration to protect your vehicle from damage plus a locked gate prior to the last section. Anyone needing to enter or leave in darkness would find traversing this track in its present state even more difficult. High Spring rainfall & frequent use has not improved current condition. You will need to bring your own music, listening or viewing sources. No TV, mobile & internet reception was a frustrating problem. Free to air TV channels were channel 10 only & unwatchable due to bad picture breakup. The ABCiview app tempts but lack of internet bandwidth means that programs don’t play. There was no VCR/DVD, radio or CD player nor cards/board games. Tablets could not access internet-based streaming due to the limited bandwidth, phone coverage is intermittent; bring your music, podcasts or movies downloaded. We stayed two nights at Silver Moon, relishing the privacy & natural environment, grateful that we had brought provisions and books so we didn’t need to drive out. We would stay for two days again because of its beautiful site but would arrive totally prepared to stay put & be unreachable.

Summary: Seriously the best property my husband and I have stayed in for a very long time. It was actually better than described. Worth every penny, wish we had stayed longer and already making plans to return. Well appointed accommodation, super comfortable bed and the most incredible views and beach. Don't hesitate to book if you are looking to get away from it all and unwind.
