Summary: One of the recessed ceiling bulbs was burnt out. The two chairs were old and rickety with no seat padding. A new back cover was made and glued to the chair but it was coming off. There was a jacuzzi in the bedroom and a separate bathroom but they only gave you one bar of soap to carry from room to room. A chartreuse board was ordered. They didn’t provide a knife, napkins, or any mustard or condiments. I had a handicap person with me and they only had one handicapped parking spot which was taken. We had to park across the street at the neighboring restaurant. They didn’t have enough parking for all the guests. It was havoc.

Summary: Lovely girls weekends. Staff was attentive, personable and very capable. Rooms/bed/bath were all well appointed and most comfortable. Common areas were also comfortable coffee/tea was always available. View of the lake was perfect. Only slight complaint was parking was a challenge over the weekend but there was a wedding on site and staff immediately moved a personal vehicle so we could park near our room.

Summary: The staff at Silver Birches is very helpful and accommodating. Our room was newly renovated, though the bright red furniture was not appealing to me. Nor was the extreme smell of FEBREEZE upon entering the room. We were on the bottom floor of an older 2 story building, maybe without much to block sound between floors? - but you could hear all of the 'movement' from above. Overall, not a bad stay. priced well for off-season, new interior, clean, very accommodating staff, beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack.

Summary: We had such an amazing trip and our stay was so quaint and comfortable! The staff was so very accommodating to our late arrival. You have to have the continental breakfast overlooking Lake Wallenpaupack- early morning views over the lake are amazing!

Summary: Silver Birches is a small, historic lake resort on Lake Wallenpaupack, not far from Hawley, PA. The location and view were terrific. Our room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and chairs in our suite and the view from our balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the furniture and walls had a few bumps and bruises.
