Positive: Lovely colonial feel, the history is told from the moment you arrive until you leave, from the fresques, to the artefacts, the garden, the restaurant menu, etc! Large room, nice pool, excellent cuisine, be it Indian or Portuguese, all dishes were really tasteful! Most importantly, they arranged our taxi to the airport, couldn't have been easier and it was a comfortable vehicle! The owner is most welcoming and will happily show you around the grounds.

Negative: The beach is not a walking distance but they will arrange tuk tuk for you, so just plan accordingly. The coffee machine was not working for our 2 nights there, it's OK if you are happy with instant coffee.

Positive: Beautiful property, with amazing decor and facilities. Staffing were really accomodating and friendly, always happy to go above and beyond to help.

Negative: This isn’t really a negative just something to note: if you stay here you require a means of transportation, either bike or car, reception staff can help you arrange it.

Negative: Small things that don’t work like they should. For instance the magic telephone number 9 fell on in its face because no one was there to pick it up at the other end the two times we tried to use it.
