Summary: We had an OK stay. Dinner service was extremely slow, took over two and half hour and food was not anything special. The room was dated and so was the pool area. The views are fantastic and the forest behind the hotel is great for walks and trail running. No AC.

Summary: Fantastic nice hotel run privately, the staff are extremely nice and very helpful. They arranged evening meals for my daughter every night. They arrange pleasant dinners every night at a good price. Good free wifi. Nice rooms and comfortable beds. Large heated pool. Located calm and cozy. I lived here with my 10 year old child. Highly recommend a stay here.

Summary: We are a couple staying a night during our visit to Leksand. This hotel is some distance from Leksand town and more accessible if you have your own car. The hotel is in an old building but our room looked like it was recently refreshed. The beds were soft and room was clean and fresh. We were given one with a view of the lake Siljan. There is not many staff during our visit in Spring but they were friendly and service oriented. Food at our dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Our dinner of ribs and cod and the typical Swedish breakfast buffet tasted amazingly good and wholesome. Only dissatisfaction was with the quality of the water that felt hard. Otherwise, it's a good stay for some rest & relax with fresh mountain air.
