Positive: I used Booking .com to do this booking. I made a request but didn't receive an initial request and used WhatsApp to contact SIAN Sanctuary Villa. They responded almost immediately and were extremely helpful. The location was great and I basically got everything I expected. Great value for money and great customer service directly online.

Negative: There's nothing bad that can be said. Sian provided what they advertised.

Summary: Pleasant after a long flight to Brasov.

Positive: The staff was very kind, responsive, we could leave our baggage when we arrived in the morning. You have a fridge for communal use. Location was convenient and close to the center.

Negative: The bathroom was smelling quite badly, the stand for the shower in the bathroom didn’t work so you had to hold it with your hand while showering, the window didn’t have a full dark shade so the sun entered in the morning.

Summary: Good value for money but don’t expect fabulous

Positive: The bed was comfortable. There's a little terrace where you can sit down, enjoy a warm drink and take in the fresh morning air. The TV has YouTube. They have a discount available for a nearby eating place. Some things were very clean. Communication with the host was good: rules of the house were explained clearly (check-in, check-out, parking) and they answered quickly when we needed additional information. A kettle, cups, coffee and tea were provided.

Negative: The room we had would not be appropriate for someone who sleeps very lightly or gets startled easily: the door leading to the hallway would rattle everytime someone from a neighbouring room would close theirs - this noise made us jump a few times. Furthermore, we could hear the people from the room above stomping for a good portion of the night; i don't think they were trying to be loud, rather that the ceiling is very thin. Other than that, the window was broken and cracked. The crack itself doesn't bother because it's on the portion of the window which doesn't open but the window that does open had the plastic handle broken - after opening it we struggled to get it closed. While I understand that such things might take time to replace, I would've appreciated a heads up (a handwritten sign at least) letting us know not to open it or to open it very carefully. While being provided with coffee and tea is very hospitable, one of the cups had brown residue in it which put us off a little bit. The windows, bathroom and linens were all very clean but I was hesitant on cleanliness after seeing that.
