Positive: Great location and very quiet room location - room 1969 at the end of the hall. Terrific breakfast, but short staff met to arise earlier to beat the holiday crowds. Everything worked in the room and having two bathrooms was a luxury with the kids. And having a full kitchen meant cooking healthy meals at the end of the long ski day. Shoshone is a bit dated, but the value is great and the staff is attentive. Early checkin was very appreciated and the valets were super helpful. Also, gym was a nice touch with towel service and working equipment. Lastly, the ski valet was AWESOME!

Negative: Huntley Lodge breakfast got a bit repetitive, and the buffet ran outta of food items so people queued up. Also, the scrambled eggs were always overcooked. Also, this is a nit, but Shoshone's elevator is slow and often a wait to go up upper floors. Hot tub could be set at a higher temperature. Lastly, in the last 5 years, Big Sky has doubled in cost so this might be the last time we can afford visiting from out of state.
