Summary: We had an amazing trip. Unfortunately we encountered issues with the hot water in our room. The water was extremely hot and we were unable to take any showers. The maintenance tried to fix the problem on multiple occasions, but was unable to. The hotel staff was empathetic and offered us a shower in an empty room the night before we left. Gary took care of us, covered our breakfast and room on our last day. They drove us to the city to our hotel on our last day in Ireland. The staff made our trip very memorable, despite the issues we encountered. The hotel restaurant staff were ama zing and the food was exceptional. The outside waterfront patio was so refreshing. We will definitely return!

Summary: The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The condition of the lobby and rooms, tho comfortable, need a lot of care. The carpets are stained and frayed. This hotel has great potential but needs some serious investment.

Summary: The rooms are very tired and require updating. Maintenance issues with the plumbing require fixing. Bath towels are no bigger than a facecloth. Never had a piece of beef that was tougher than my shoe leather. On the plus side breakfast was very good. Good location but not a lot about locally. Need to drive. Taxis are a nightmare as they do not seem to like going out that far.

Summary: The general condition of the hotel was poor and it just seemed cold and dirty with a lack of pride taken in the hotels building and the guest rooms. The Hotel room was very warm, it seemed like the heating was constantly on as the radiators were always very hot and it never felt like they were getting cooler . You couldn't sleep at night it was like a sauna. We tried to move the temperature setting on the wall gauge in our room but the gauge started to constantly make a ticking noise every 2 minutes and this went on and on for a long period of time, so we had to change it back again for it to stop ticking. There were bits of carpet missing in our room, the floor area around the door had no carpet which was a safety hazard. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. Staff were ok but could be a lot better. On a positive note the location right by the beach and sea is great and it's a lovely setting, although it doesn't really make up for the let down of the hotel as I probably wouldn't stay here again. We were left disappointed, as what we had seen on the hotel website with how the hotel, its guest rooms and the overall way the hotel is marketed was a little misleading. I never am one to leave a review and certainly not a negative one, although as we were so disappointed with are overall experience, I had to write one on this occasion.
