Positive: You get what you pay for.

Negative: Sound insulation between apartments is very weak to none. The whole apartment smelled mold, but it smelled less after air-con for 2 days. Smelly toilet. The so-call 2 bedrooms were only separated by Japanese style sliding doors, so privacy is low to none. Worse is only 1 air-con for 2 bedrooms. Had to slide open a little and turned on the fan to ventilate the air to another room.

Positive: Easy check in (door was just open). It was clean and fairly decorated, as a modest home. No surprise upon arrival but the surfing suits from next door drying on the balcony. Fair enough.

Negative: Defo not crappy, as reported on many reviews, but the soundness of the building is questionnable. There is little (and old) kitchenware.

Positive: This is the first time that i stay at a traditional japanese house instead of a hotel, the house was clean and it's located about 5 minutes from the beach by bike. There were 3 beds which was more than enough as i was traveling alone but if you are a family you could definitely stay here. There is parking available for free so that's a plus. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to keep your food cool or heat it up. I would definitely reccomend this place!
