Positive: Friendly helpful staff. Clean and cute room. Convenient location.

Negative: It’s okay to close the laundry facilities by 9pm if you’re trying to cut down on noise, but not reopening until late morning was pretty annoying for long travelers. Parking might be problematic if it gets too rainy as you’re essentially driving across the field to your room, not a problem for us actually as it was dry.

Negative: It was cold and challenging to keep warm with no heat source in bedrooms- aware that it is at the end of the season however more space heaters should be provided. Water took a long time to heat up.

Positive: The cottage I had offered all that I needed in a safe, warm and cozy atmosphere. Check in was smooth and both staff members I interacted with were so much more than helpful. One morning I woke up and walked down to the shore and on a whim did a ten-mile hike in beautiful surroundings...what could be nicer? I love the Cavendish area and will be back to stay at Shining Waters!

Negative: I frankly can't think of anything I would improve. The bed was totally comfortable, the place passed my white glove test and was centrally located to all the Cavendish and PEI National Park attractions.
