Positive: Gorgeous cottage with beautiful decor. Lovely views.

Negative: The swimming pool and 2nd hot tub included in the photos is 8 miles away. The hot tub was not ready for use as it gets emptied and refilled after each use. It was at the correct temperature the next morning and is in a lovely spot with views of the hills. Unfortunately the heating wasn't working but the plumber did then come the 2nd evening to fix it. There are 2 wood burning fires that can be used but you need to bring your own wood.

Positive: Shellduck Cottage was a lovely place to celebrate a Ruby Wedding with family. It’s in a really good location with fab views. The property itself is decorated to a very high standard but still cosy. The beds were super comfortable with high quality bedding, each had an en suite. There was a welcome hamper full of goodies which was very much appreciated. The hot tub with a view was an added bonus even in December! All communication was friendly and very efficient. I would highly recommend it for a short or long stay.

Negative: This is a jokey ‘ complaint’ - too many wooden ducks, it felt a bit like a warehouse and not one of them was an actual Shellduck;)
