The location is unbeatable—a short walk from Bhaktapur Durbar Square, with easy access to all the main sights, yet tucked away on a quiet street. The house has a warm, welcoming vibe. The beautiful decor features traditional Newari architecture, with intricate woodwork and a cozy design. My room was simple but very comfortable and clean, a lovely private space. The rooftop terrace offers a stunning 360-degree view of the old city and the Himalayan mountains. It is a fantastic spot to relax, especially at sunset. The shared kitchen is well-equipped and a great place to meet other guests, share travel stories, and make a meal. This communal aspect really made my stay feel like a home away from home. Shekhar is an excellent host. He is friendly and helpful and a great resource for local tips on what to see and do in the area. His advice helped me discover hidden alleys and local spots I would have missed otherwise. His hospitality truly makes the place special. I cannot recommend this guesthouse enough for a genuine and memorable Bhaktapur experience.

Positive: Best place to stay in town, especially for solo travelers! Shekhar is a friendly host who kindly offers local advice. I will definitely visit this place again when coming back to Nepal 🇳🇵 it’s close to one of my favorite shop, the peacock shop, where they makes cool paper products 😍

Positive: This is a perfectly situated, comfortable homestay run by lovely people. It had the bonus of a kitchen, which I think would have been a great social space usually though we were there a little out of the busy season.

Positive: The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooftop terrace and lobby were nice and good vibes in the hostel. Location is great, right by the main street.

Negative: Room was tiny! Smallest room I ever hed. Bathroom and shower were very dirty, I didn't want to shower there.
