Positive: It was very nice stay, the host is very sweet and kind. She accommodated us very well!

Negative: It was just a bit cold even though the heater was put up to maximum.

Positive: Quiet residential area. Comfortable beds and plenty of storage space for clothes.

Negative: On arrival we were initially supplied with just one towel for two of us, but then offered another. The oven didn't work and the only way of heating water for hot drinks was a pan on the hob. There's no coffee machine or kettle. There was insufficient crockery and cutlery for the potential number of occupants. The TV remote apparently went missing last year and has not been replaced. The dishwasher didn't work and we weren't allowed to use the washer or dryer. Apparently the owner required access to a cupboard in the apartment so it was suggested that we lock our bedroom door because we weren't given a key for the external door. The second bedroom was locked, presumably because the owner didn't want us using it (even though we had paid for a two bedroom apartment!). If travelling in the colder months I noticed in other reviews that there seemed to be issues with the heating, although that wasn't relevant to our stay.

Summary: It's no palace.

Positive: the host was lovely and the area was safe and attractive..

Negative: but the location was a 40 minute drive, not 9 miles like the booking description. The bed was great but the heat was regulated upstairs so our basement was rather cold. Coukd use a space heater for the bedroom and livingroom kitchenette

Positive: It was simply great and nice place. Very calm and clean, actually it is that calm that you won’t fell it as a basement.

Negative: I still like but the property is having limited appliances and no towels at all.
