Positive: Beautiful riverside setting, elegant rooms and impeccable service. The perfect blend of luxury and warmth, with excellent food and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. An ideal base to explore Kenmare and the Ring of Kerry. We left wishing we had stayed longer. Highly recommended!

Positive: Beautiful view from our enormous bedroom. An excellent (if expensive) dinner. Very pleasant and helpful staff, expecially the waiter who attended us in the dining room.

Negative: We were slightly disconcerted to find ourselves in a room designed for people with significant disabilities. We are elderly, but not wheelchair-bound. The room was beautiful, however. The other two things we noticed were the absence of an a-la-carte option in the main restaurant (it was an all-or-nothing menu) and the wine list was at the rather expensive end of the scale, lacking in more modestly-priced options.
