Summary: The mansion is beautiful! It has been preserved to confirm with the time period but has modern conveniences ( bathroom and Wi-Fi). Very peaceful and pleasant. The hosts are welcoming and congenial but not obtrusive.

Summary: The owners are nice, if a bit reserved. The property was clean and the cats friendly. There was an odd smell, sweet, like old roses, and if you are sensitive to odors it could be problematic. I’m not and it was almost too much for me. The land the mansion sits on is lovely. There are not a lot of food options close by, especially if you have any food allergies or special needs. Back a cooler.

Summary: We stayed at the Shaw Mansion Inn for an anniversary trip. The architecture of the mansion was awesome! Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable; the breakfast was great; and the hosts were delightful to talk to and recommended some great sites for us to check out while in the area. We loved it and highly recommend! (Just make sure to go spring or fall, they close in the winter and there's no AC for summer.)

Summary: We really enjoyed staying at this historic property. It has been lovingly restored and and is quite comfortable. Connie and Scott were amazing hosts and we really appreciated the breakfasts. They accommodated my gluten free and dietary needs. The surrounding area is beautiful to explore.
