Positive: The manager could take corrective measure after second day and that is appreciated. However, the pain of shifting from first day experience leaves a bad image overall in spite of a detailed expectation that I have written to the property.

Negative: When a customer explicitly mentioned about the family visit expectations and couldn’t get that experience while reaching the property is not acceptable. I have been staying in Shangri-La many times before but this time left with some disappointment.

Positive: The property is centrally located, very convenient to travel to nearby restaurants and airport was like a 40 minutes drive. Staff were excellent, front desk upgraded my room for no extra cost as there was a minor error on booking, I was so happy! Staff at the restaurant were very kind, they took request for my breakfast and got food to my table, packed some food to eat later as Iam diabetic. Room service excellent, cleaned room daily and was so humble. I ate at the Italian restaurant; i requested the dish with less oil and if some vegetables could be added due to my health; the chef obliged. It is not about the Italian menu; but I saw true genuine hospitality. The price at both restaurant were little high or I would have indulged myself more; hope the hotel people look into this.

Negative: The gym, i heard was renovated and was ready on June 2025; the interiors, lighting, and the equipment were phenomenal. I went late night around 11pm to work out, the personal trainer was very knowledgeable, kind and assisted me throughout. At the locker room, the person there was so nice, while in sauna, he got me a glass of water.
