Positive: Beautiful outdoor seating areas. Fantastic hike with great views and interesting historical spots (not recommended for anyone with knee troubles). Spacious bathroom. Comfortable beds. Jungle gym is close to unit. Short drive from Parys.

Negative: It would have been nice if the single beds had had a sheet as well as duvet. If there is a swimming pool, you will have to ask for directions as we couldn't find it. Hornet's nest in gate access keypad.

Positive: Shallow Pig is situated on a beautiful farm. We enjoyed the peace and quite. The house is well equiped with a nice woodstove to keep the cold out. Everything is neat and clean. We also enjoyed the hiking trail and a breath of fresh air

Positive: Lots of small detail to what is available.....even salt..... Umbrella.....torch etc etc. Very cute and cozy.

Negative: The fire inside was choking us.....didn't work properly to take the smoke out the cottage. Was actually quite severe. And the warm water was lukewarm...... so we didn't enjoy the bath.

Positive: Situated on a beautiful farm, the cottage is lovely. It's neat & clean, everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the coal stove at night & enjoyed the sunrise on the stoep every morning with the company of some chickens.. We enjoyed the peace & quiet of the farm.
