Positive: Breakfast was ok . Beds ok .

Negative: Towels were like sandpaper. Shower curtain very black all along bottom. Staff not helpful. Told day before leaving that wanted paying and only in cash but would not provide a receipt when we handed money over we had to email owner and wait 2 days before he eventually sent one .So we had no proof we had paid for our stay which we have never had this before.

Positive: We like the quiet location, the views are amazing from room 6 and the staff are friendly. We like breakfast even if some find it not to their liking. The air-con is fantastic in room 6 anyway.

Negative: The accommodation furniture is dated and the bed mattress had holes and springs poking through.

Positive: It was exceptional good value for the money - I doubt that you will find a cheaper room for this price and it also included a breakfast! A simple one, mind, consisting of coffee, juice, bread, Marmelade, butter, a freshly made omelette and some delicious Greek Joghurt with honey. Our room was spacious with a large kitchen area including an oven and a washing machine. They even provided some washing soap, so we could do a load. That sure came in handy for us. The staff was very friendly, especially the lady in charge. We were even picked up from the harbour and led to Sevas Studios by foot (it’s uphill, but quite manageable) We got fresh towels during our stay, the bed was quite comfy (despite the age) and the location was good: Quite close to the Center of Livadia, but not in the middle of it. It was very quiet and I slept well. Good, spacious shower as well!

Negative: The pictures on Booking were quite different from the room we actually got, so different that there was an initial shock at first. This accommodation is not for you if you are especially picky and fussy, you need some good humour and relaxed mind - everything is working and nothing is missing. The Interieur and the rooms themselves really need some investment and updates - everything is quite worn down, old and partly rusty. There was a sewage smell the first days which bothered us a bit in our first floor room, but they managed to find a solution for that and it was gone after a few days. There was some noise inside the walls at night, sounded a lot like insects. I really did not care much for that, but there were no insects in the room itself. The staff could be more professional. Not only do they speak no or only a little English, they also did a strange check-in from the balcony above us arriving shouting the names out and we received a piece of paper with the price of the room handwritten on it … be aware that only cash is accepted here! Booking should change this in the description.

Positive: Very nice studios, had a lovely huge room with nice balcony and lovely views of harbour, few minutes walk from port uphill and harder with cases, but nice and easy walk otherwise to and from port when off out, room was very clean and comfortable and was warmly welcomed, perfect place to stay in Tilos and breakfast was superb and clearly explained time available, would easily have stayed longer, amazing value for money.

Positive: Our studio was large and in an ideal location, and the balcony had a great view. The kitchen area was extremely well equipped with a large fridge-freezer, microwave and full size cooker. Seva was a helpful and attentive hostess and the breakfast she served was excellent.

Negative: The WiFi was very slow indoors but worked well on the balcony.

Positive: Eleven out of ten!! A large studio in a great location with amazing views of the beautiful bay and mountains from the large balcony/terrace. On top of that, our hostess, Seva, gave us a delicious breakfast every morning. And so cheap too. Tilos is a wonderful island .
