Our absolutely gorgeous bright and cheery home is the ultimate holiday getaway! Tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished, close to Myall River, boat ramp and a short walk to the surf beach and magical Jimmy’s beach.
This gorgeous holiday home is suitable for 6 guests (additional bedding can be provided upon request) and has ducted air conditioning with an open plan living and a gas log fire for those chilly nights. The front porch and back deck with outdoor dining are fabulous entertaining areas to rest and relax. The outdoor living area is great for entertaining and has a gas BBQ, outdoor setting and Adirondack chairs with fully fenced yard and outdoor shower. The home is tastefully decorated with a relaxed coastal theme with polished floorboards throughout the house. A comfortable sofa modular and lounge chair makes for a relaxing position after a day at the beach. The dining room has a wooden table with seating for 6 and the kitchen has Caesarstone bench tops with Miele dishwasher, French door refrigerator with water dispenser and ice maker. The Cappuccino machine makes the best coffee and beans are supplied.
Our beautiful beach house is fully equipped for your holiday with every little detail thought of. Additionally, the free Internet ensures you can rest & relax watching a great movie on Netflix or choose from one of the many DVD’s on selection on the large 65 inch TV with surround sound.
We supply a large selection of kitchen and laundry items for your use including oils, balsamic vinegar, cling wrap, foil, baking paper, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, cloths and washing powder.
Beautifully renovated bathroom with freestanding bath, caesarstone vanity and there are 2 toilets in the home. A recent renovation is the combined shower, toilet and laundry located in a separate dwelling near the back deck.
There are three bedrooms beautifully decorated with coastal, natural theme utilising gorgeous linens, feather doonas and soft pillows. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed (sleeps 2), the second bedroom also has a queen (sleeps 2) then the third bedroom has a double bed and a single bed (sleeps 2). Bed linen & bath towel provided.
Maximum 6 people (adults & children).
Conveniently located with a short walk to Bennett's and Jimmy's beaches, restaurants, shops, the golf club and close to access the bridge which crosses over to Tea Gardens where you will get great coffee by the waters edge. A picnic rug and basket with plastic plates and cups are provided for you to enjoy BBQ's at one of the many spots around the waters edge.
All linen provided including bed linen, bath towels, hand towels and bath mat. Beach towels can be provided at an extra cost.

Summary: We had a wonderful relaxing weekend stay at the beautiful Serenity cottage in Hawks Nest. Lyn was so lovely to correspond with and kindly offered both early check in and late check out. We arrived to a delicious selection of cheese and crackers, bubbly, eggs, milk, granola, yummy chocolates, fresh coffee and fresh fruit for breakfast juicing, plus a generously stocked pantry too! We cooked fresh local fish and veggies on the bbq. The huge outside seating area overlooks a beautiful private sunny garden. Serenity cottage was a perfect stay for us, beautifully styled, immaculately clean and super cosy and warm even during a sunny but chilly weekend and probably has the best stocked holiday cottage we have ever stayed in, Lyn has simply thought of everything you could possibly need to make the stay perfect! Very comfy beds too with gorgeous sheridan linen and plenty of extra snuggly blankets if needed. We could highly recommend a stay at Serenity cottage for a peaceful, relaxing, luxury stay. Thanks so much Lyn, we loved our stay with you at Serenity cottage, we will return 😊

Summary: What a beautiful place to stay. We usually stay on the beach when we go to Hawks Nest but this place is so lovely and serene and only 1 minute drive to the beach (which is actually easier than walking across the road to the beach with all the gear). The house had everything we needed and even more - the amenities the host included were so generous and thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again - such a beautiful house, everything seemed new. Linens were country road and Sheridan, and the beds were so soft. It was like a luxury hotel stay, but at Hawks Nest. The deck out the back was perfect for relaxing with a drink, and our toddler absolutely loved the house and the large, flat backyard for playing in.

Summary: there is nothing to fault at this property - a lot of thought has gone into the set up of the home with everything considered. The hosts were easy to liaise with. Plenty of room, plenty of little extras that made the stay extra special. Would suit family or a group of couples. Would highly recommend and close to beach and shops.
