Positive: Absolutely wonderful in every way. The staff, the welcome, the room, I could live here. Truly wonderful and I will be staying here every time I come to Siem Reap!

Positive: We had a very enjoyable stay at Serenity Home. Kol and his family ensured we were happy with everything. It's a new boutique hotel with a lovely pool area.The rooms are spacious,comfortable and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful, spacious and sparkling clean. Breakfast was chosen to order from a set menu which was a welcome change from the usual buffet. It was very satisfying and include breads and pastries, coffee andeggs cooked to your liking as well as a fruit platter. Services like airport transfer, laundry and day trips were hassle free and fairly priced. It's nearby the town centre. Tuk-tuks are easily accessible and will get you there in a few minutes for around $1.50.

Positive: Everything!! What an amazing place this hotel is. The hotel is run by a local Cambodian family headed up by the super friendly and knowledgeable Kol. The personal touches make this stay exceptional in every way. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Everything is spotlessly clean and new (the hotel only opened in December 2025). The swimming pool is a wonderful place to relax after a busy day touring the temples. Kol can arrange tours or simply a tuk tuk driver for the whole day who’ll drive you round and drop you off and pick you up. When you get back to the tuk tuk after each temple visit you are offered ice cold bottles of water and flannels to cool down- such a nice touch. The breakfast is delicious, with local food fresh from the market next door. I cannot recommend this place highly enough if you are planning on visiting Siem Reap and Angkor Watt. This hotel is a little piece of heaven, and if you want to experience genuinely wonderful Cambodian hospitality, this is the place for you!

Positive: Everything about this place was perfect for a 'couples' stay in Siem Reap. The hotel is situated just far enough from the main tourist areas to provide a more 'local' feel but the Old Market area is a few minutes in a Tuk Tuk or around a 25 minute walk. There are restaurants and shops within an easy walk of the hotel for any essentials or for when you just want to stay close to your room. The host and his team are amazing and really made us feel part of the family. Other reviewers have spoken about Kol's extensive experience in the hospitality world and it's clear that this is a passion for him. The room, ours was by the pool (Rm 101) was perfect, very comfortable bed and huge walk-in shower room. The breakfast each day was prepared using fresh ingredients bought from a local market each morning. There was a choice of 4 or 5 options for each of the 3 courses, from yoghurt and muesli to omelette and bacon, all served with a selection of breads and jam and a fruit plate. They also offer evening meals, with a couple of hours notice so that they can go and buy the ingredients. These are really well prepared and excellently priced. The staff were amazing. Can't really say much more about them, nothing was too much trouble and they really made the entire stay perfect. The pool area was lovely, spotlessly clean, and as this is a relatively small boutique hotel, its never really busy and offers plenty of sun beds for everyone. We feel so lucky to have found Serenity Home and can't wait to return.

Positive: Everything. Kol (the owner and manager) has decades of experience and he is genuinely committed to excellent customer service. His team are all family members and all have a shared goal of making your stay feel like a home away from home. We couldn't have been made more welcome. Kol was so helpful over whats app and in person with recommendations and bookings plus being a lovely interesting person to talk to with a great sense of humour. The hotel is brand new, only opened this year and is spotless. Our rooms were poolside with high ceilings, huge beds and the biggest shower ive ever used. Breakfast was included and was delicious and prepared to order. He has two family members for tuk tuk services who collected us seamlessly from the bus terminal even though I had no idea which one we were arriving into! The hotel is super quiet and about a 20 minute walk into the centre or a dollar ride via Grab tuk tuk into town. Book here, you wont regret it.

Positive: The space the staff the pool the room the food. It truly was a Serene Home for us to enjoy our stay in Siem Reap. The manager speaks excellent English and his family/staff are adept with Google translate and could not have been more helpful.

Negative: The short private road leading from the street to the hotel is unpromising but once you have done that 30 metre or so tuktuk taxi or walk you reach a beautiful complex superbly maintained and amazingly peaceful.
