Positive: Everything about this place was perfect for a 'couples' stay in Siem Reap. The hotel is situated just far enough from the main tourist areas to provide a more 'local' feel but the Old Market area is a few minutes in a Tuk Tuk or around a 25 minute walk. There are restaurants and shops within an easy walk of the hotel for any essentials or for when you just want to stay close to your room. The host and his team are amazing and really made us feel part of the family. Other reviewers have spoken about Kol's extensive experience in the hospitality world and it's clear that this is a passion for him. The room, ours was by the pool (Rm 101) was perfect, very comfortable bed and huge walk-in shower room. The breakfast each day was prepared using fresh ingredients bought from a local market each morning. There was a choice of 4 or 5 options for each of the 3 courses, from yoghurt and muesli to omelette and bacon, all served with a selection of breads and jam and a fruit plate. They also offer evening meals, with a couple of hours notice so that they can go and buy the ingredients. These are really well prepared and excellently priced. The staff were amazing. Can't really say much more about them, nothing was too much trouble and they really made the entire stay perfect. The pool area was lovely, spotlessly clean, and as this is a relatively small boutique hotel, its never really busy and offers plenty of sun beds for everyone. We feel so lucky to have found Serenity Home and can't wait to return.

Positive: Everything. Kol (the owner and manager) has decades of experience and he is genuinely committed to excellent customer service. His team are all family members and all have a shared goal of making your stay feel like a home away from home. We couldn't have been made more welcome. Kol was so helpful over whats app and in person with recommendations and bookings plus being a lovely interesting person to talk to with a great sense of humour. The hotel is brand new, only opened this year and is spotless. Our rooms were poolside with high ceilings, huge beds and the biggest shower ive ever used. Breakfast was included and was delicious and prepared to order. He has two family members for tuk tuk services who collected us seamlessly from the bus terminal even though I had no idea which one we were arriving into! The hotel is super quiet and about a 20 minute walk into the centre or a dollar ride via Grab tuk tuk into town. Book here, you wont regret it.

Positive: The space the staff the pool the room the food. It truly was a Serene Home for us to enjoy our stay in Siem Reap. The manager speaks excellent English and his family/staff are adept with Google translate and could not have been more helpful.

Negative: The short private road leading from the street to the hotel is unpromising but once you have done that 30 metre or so tuktuk taxi or walk you reach a beautiful complex superbly maintained and amazingly peaceful.

Positive: Kol is an experienced hotelier who has created a gorgeous, tranquil small hotel. When you arrive you are "welcomed home". The room was comfortable, clean and with a gorgeous walk in shower. There was fruit, water, tea, coffee and homemade ginger and lemongrass tea. The swimming pool is gorgeous and a good size. All the little details have been seen too. The staff are so kind and helpful. Kol's wife is also an amazing cook and I really enjoyed having a few meals there. I really enjoyed my 4 days there and would definitely return.

Positive: Everything 😭 breakfast was amazing, they have the western option and then cambodian dishes (pics below), they have free bikes, the staff is so nice and they make sure everything is comfortable. For example, i was struggling a bit at the pool beds and the lady saw it and brought me a pillow. On my second night, i got lost going back to the hotel and owner said that if that happened again, I was more than welcome to send him my location that he would come to pick me up. They go above and beyond for their guests

Negative: Wifi signal wasn't the greatest in my room. Wasn't strong enough for a video call but for a voice call it was good enough

Positive: This Hotel is brand-new and our stay was absolutely amazing, far beyond our Expectations. Kol and his Family are running the Hotel all together, in a way, that you'll feel part of the family. They're such lovely people, very caring and super helpful with literally everything you need and whatever you ask for they'll help you with. The Hotel has just opened 2 months ago and you'll find a super clean, relaxing and charming atmosphere there. It's located in a quiet side street, not far from the center and there's a little market, some shops and a bakery in a walkable distance nearby, with everything you'll need. The breakfast is included and will be prepared to your choice, with some local and international options, all prepared with love and detail. Definitely the place to be in Siem Reap and we'll come again there for sure. Much Love and all the Best to you and your Family Kol. Thank you for everything 🙏🏼
