Positive: 4 star hotel quality room with everything I needed for a comfy stay including filtered hot and cold water at the reception uaing refillable bottles. So quiet at night, next to restaurants, bars, events yet quiet during late nights.Construction next door, but they stopped work in the evening, it didnt bother me. Villa customers have direct access to the ocean (just cross the road) . Ocean level is low during day but got better in the evening after 5pm and I went swimming deep into the ocean everyday. You can literally walk for 100m without having to swim but corals will hurt. I saw 3 giant turtles. Ivan and Ari (caretakers) were fantastic and will make you feel at home, always ready to help. I will stay here if & when I return ro Gili T.

Positive: THE WARMTH OF A FAMILY When you arrive in Gili Trawangan, it feels like time has stood still. The streets are only travelled by horses, horse-drawn carriages and bicycles. Everything moves slowly and smiling people welcome you to this natural paradise. If you are lucky enough to stay in a hotel like SERENE BEACH VILLA, you will also find the warmth of a family. This is where we spent the best days of our holiday. Welcomed by the kind owner Morteza, the “father” of this large family, we quickly became part of this wonderful group of smart, kind young people full of dreams to fulfil. Yusri, the comedian, makes it impossible to have a bad day in his company. Ivan, the jack-of-all-trades manager, is always available and has a great passion for the Italian language, which he is learning very well. Barun, another fundamental pillar of the family, is always smiling and kind. And finally, Ari, the family mascot, the youngest but already very capable, always ready to satisfy every request with a smile and an excellent chef (hearty and delicious breakfasts). At SERENE BEACH VILLA, wonderful people and wonderful sunsets over the sea await you.

Positive: We loved everything! The room was big and clean, also the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is in a perfect location on the west side of the island, ideal for exploring and enjoying the sunsets. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming.

Positive: This is a great spot to relax and enjoy Gili T from. The team are very helpful and trustworthy, and make it a private haven for your stay. The location is great away from the busy centre of town, but still close enough to what you need, including good food and drink, and the opportunity to start and end the day with both breakfast and sunset on the beach. It’s also zero hassle to rent a bike from the staff here to get around the island quickly. I’d gladly return for another stay. also, I am certain that the issues around a few negative reviews earlier this year have been resolved - I have no complaints at all.
