Positive: There are many extras-- there is an outdoor shower so you don't have to worry about tracking sand into your rental, there are beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys available for you to bring with you to the beach, there are many different types of kitchen appliances that rentals don't usually have such as a toaster and a blender, there is a washer and dryer so you can do laundry, tons of towels both for bathing and beach activities, and soda and beer in the fridge. It's clean, well-maintained and beautiful in a quiet and safe community. The staff are friendly, kind, and attentive-- any issues you bring to their attention, they will have resolved ASAP.

Negative: The only thing that gave me pause was the Murphey bed in the living room-- it was sort of unstable, but nothing of serious consequence came of this. The microwave in both the upstairs and downstairs units are on precarious shelves (they seem to be at risk for falling off of the wall).

Summary: Lovely--My new go-to rental for my stays in the San Juan area.

Positive: I loved everything about it,God willing will be booking with you again soon.I Thank You and staff for the service.Was all I expected it to be.

Negative: Only thing I didn’t like was water pressure and made it inconvenient for me as I have a son with Autism that I have to bathe,So it was all so difficult and uncomfortable,But overall everything else was so nice.

Summary: Just know that I’m planning to come back,So that says it all.🇵🇷❤️

Positive: The location was amazing. The fact that it was inside a gated community was great! Lovely apartment and great for the price. The apartment came with useful amenities that were clutch for the beach like beach chairs, towels, cooler.

Negative: The shower pressure was terrible. That is the only thing that needs improvement! And the hidden bed has a broken leg that probably needs repair soon.

Positive: Loved the location, and that it was in a gated community. It was very clean, and bright with lots of natural light. The little drink gifts was such a wonderful touch and really thoughtful.

Negative: In the main bedroom in the corner is a window area ( the see through blocks) that isn't covered at night so it shines a lot of light into the room, directly on your face when sleeping.

Positive: I appreciated that this was 10ish or so minutes from the beach. The bed was soft, and I like that there were beach chairs available for me to use if I wanted. As a solo traveler with a light itinerary, the list of recommendations provided was helpful! The refrigerator and microwave in the kitchen worked well!

Negative: The bathroom was my least favorite thing about Serena Alta. The shower head barely had any water coming from it so I never had a good shower while there. The bathtub looked like it had sand damage too. It was a little challenging to get out of the neighborhood since you could only enter and exit through one gate (even though there are multiple gates in the neighborhood.) While I don't think the pics were inaccurate there was more wear and tear than I thought.

Summary: Decent Location, Need Better Bathroom
