Positive: Host is excellent and responsive, she made our stay comfortable and pleasant. The property is spacious, clean and in an excellent location, within walking distance of the main palaces, restaurants and cafes. We only stayed for two nights but could easily have stayed longer.

Negative: There is no negative thing to say about the property.

Summary: Would highly recommend if you are looking for a traditional, unique and comfortable stay in Seoul.

Positive: Great location. This is the best compromise between still having a traditional Hanok and convenience. Host was great and very responsive.

Negative: One of the two bathrooms was across the courtyard so it was challenging during the winter. Any other time of year would be fine.

Positive: Location was excellent. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The house and beds were very comfortable. Perfect size for a family of 5. I wish our stay was longer. We would have used the kitchen more for cooking, etc.

Negative: The bathrooms are located on the fringes of the property and are cold in the winter. The bathroom floors and toilet seats are heated, so this made it more comfortable. At times, generally at night, we could detect sewer smells inside the main house. I am not sure of the source of the smell, my guess is from the streets and that it was dependent on the wind direction.

Positive: Host was very responsive before and during stay. House was very clean and comfortable. We also asked for recommendations on Korean bbq place in vicinity for which we were suggested a very accessible restaurant with great quality and value for money. We experienced first snowfall in Seoul and were mesmerised by the snow falling into the garden. Such a wonderful and enjoyable experience and stay overall!

Negative: None. The 2nd toilet was across the garden and in winter it could be cold to access during the night, but that’s an experience in itself! Nothing negative about it but just all fun!

Summary: Wonderful experience. Great location, near to cafes n good food but yet a quiet area away from the crowds.
