Positive: The bistro. The pier. Good drinks. Late checkout available

Negative: All of the entertainment in the hotel was in Russian. The music by the pool is loud. When we got there we were greeted by a nice man who wondered if we had a few minutes to talk. He wanted to sell us trips and excursions. We told him that we weren’t interested because we have already been in Mahmutlar for a while and we have tried what we wanted to do. When he realized that we weren’t going to buy something he soon took away the note that he gave us. (The note was his name and number if we had any issues with anything (police, traffic, accident, we got sick++)). He then told us that we would ask in the reseption if we needed anything. He also took his pen and aggressively ruled our names out from his list and his smile was gone. The rest of the stay he ignored us, he avoided any eye contact and moved away when we walked by.

Summary: Some good drinks and a nice pier for swimming.

Positive: Friendly staff, big rooms, relatively decent service. Welcome gift to the guests (fruits and pomegranate wine).

Negative: Terrible smell in the bathroom (some issues with sewage). Furnitures in the room are pretty old. Wi-fi is to be paid separately for one device only which is way too greedy - hotel price is high enough to include it. Food is very cheap and simple, I saw no sign of normal meat. Turkey served for lunch was even hard to chew, I think they have chosen the cheapest one. Sunbed mattresses on the beach looking like 10 years old and the beach bar is for money (!) They’re not accepting Revolute cards which is inconvenient for me. Hotel is close to some waste ground area (from one of the sides) where the view is not nice. Also too close to the highway with some intense traffic. All in all you are paying too much while receiving too little.
