Positive: The location, the concept and the chief! Even an omelet he can take it to next level ! so delicious. The staff are nice as well.

Negative: Some furniture has to be replaced. The toilet 🚽 seems old and has black scratches inside, it is not expensive to replace them from time to time ! Also the curtains has yellowish dirt from the bottom indicate aging or lack of washing them. All of those are wear and tears to be replaced periodically especially id the hotel is expensive and considered the best in class .

Positive: Sensi was an amazing resort for our honeymoon! We felt at home and relaxed here - from the spacious rooms, to the beautiful grounds, and the great food. We loved our private plunge pool and were so glad we chose a room that included it. The staff were very helpful in tracking all our reservations/activities and helping us with booking them. The resort is in a remote area, but still close to a lot of main sights and ~25 min away from Ponta Delgada. We liked the location because the sunsets on the resort were absolutely breathtaking. We did not want to leave at the end of our five night stay! Overall, I would recommend this resort and the Azores in general for couples that want a mix of relaxation and adventure on their honeymoon!

Negative: Because the resort is in a remote area, there are bugs, dirt, and other signs of nature! The housekeeping staff does their best to control this. While this is to be expected given the location, it is something to keep in mind for people looking for a pristine resort. All the activities are off site which was not clear to us when booking. We ended up having to extend our car rental so we could easily get to them. There was also a lot of back and forth with the resort when booking our activities - it would have been helpful to have a more streamlined process.

Positive: The location (perfect for sunsets) and the design of the hotel are amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dinner was probably the best dinner I had during my entire trip to the Azores.

Negative: I would improve a bit the breakfast.

Positive: We adored the design with so much attention to details, location, music - amazing !

Negative: One of the manager refused us to bring chairs outside saying it s forbidden but the next day they put same chairs for other travellers outside, and the explanation was “they are staying longer and they are group of people so the can do exception for them” what was strange and offensive for us not to be also special. The recommendation could be to find solution for all guests especially during sunset period when a lot of guests trying to find place outside to enjoy.
