Cortijo Los Ejeas has two floors, used for top-quality rural accommodation that used to belong to my grandparents, and dates back over a century with some restoration work in the last few years.
It is situated next to the Fuente del Común, just 200 m from the village of Taberno, with around 1100 inhabitants. Taberno is located to the north of the province of Almería, in the foothills of the Estancias Mountains, in the centre of the triangle which is made between Vélez Rubio 33 km away, Huercal Overa 18 km and Albox 12 km away, and 50 km from the beaches of Vera or Mojacar, 750 m above sea level and with a Mediterranean climate.

Summary: Estuvimos este Agosto toda una fantástica semana en el cortijo. Disfrutamos de La Paz y tranquilidad del entorno, como buenos madrugadores q somos, mis niños de 7 y 3 años, nos dábamos largos paseos de hora y pico por la montaña, descubriendo madrigueras, saltamontes, cuevas y " piedras preciosas", siempre en compañía de Lester ( el precioso perrito de Lucas y Paula, q nos acompañaba en todas nuestras excursiones, para gozo y disfrute de mis niños. Hablando de Lucas y Paula ( los propietarios), son encantadores, llevaron a los niños a dar de comer a las gallinas y a recolectar frutas y verduras de su huerto, toda una experiencia....además de la dulzura y paciencia con que trataban a mis bichejos , q como niños estaban todo el tiempo jugando con sus perritos. Luego la casa muy cómoda, las habitaciones grandes y muy completas, los baños bastante grandes, muy bien acondicionados y completos. Y luego la piscina, una pasada, rodeada de plantitas y bastante grande para una familia, con una escalera integrada de acceso, muy práctica para niños pequeños, y para una madre de niños pequeños algo quizás imprescindible...es completamente VALLADA, así no hay riesgo de caídas si los niños juegan en patio. En fin, lo aconsejamos 100% .....decidiros y disfrutad. Ah! Si vais contactad con Cecilia y haced la visita de ganaderos por un día, visita a granja de cabritas, con ordeñe y elaboración de quesos...una experiencia increíble

Summary: La casa comoda y acogedora, con buenas vistas, alejada de ruidos, por la noche fresquita para estar en este tiempo. Hemos disfrutado como verdaderas enan@s en la piscina, acondicionada con barbacoa, sus amacas, su mesa..para poder realizar fiestas ibizencas..:) LA ATENCION RECIBIDA POR PATE DE LOS DUEÑOS Lucas, Paula, Isabel HA SIDO EXCELENTE. Esperamos algun dia volver, hemos disfrutado muchisimo, Maite, Nuria, Santi, Cristina y Mariana (San pedro del pinatar) 21 de Julio de 2013

Summary: lo malo es que se supone que ivamos a estar solos y resulta que los dueños y sus familiares estuvieron allí en la puerta tomando el fresco y el hijo se puso a pegar golpes a las 3:00 de la tarde lo que me despertó de sopetón ESO NO SE HACE SI UNO ALQUILA UNA CASA RURAL ES PARA DESCANSAR Y ESTAR TRANQUILO LLAMAMOS PARA ASEGURARNOS DE QUE ERA LA CASA PARA NOSOTROS SOLOS Y NOS DIGUERON QUI SI solo hemos estado 2 días y nada mas que veíamos coches aparcar he irse todo el rato
