Summary: We stayed at Secrets in Los Cabos for six nights, opting for a more relaxing vacation this time—something different from the typical party-all-night vibe of downtown Cabo. Since the resort is located in San José del Cabo, it offered the perfect balance: peaceful and laid-back, with the option to join in on some fun if you felt like it. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth. We arrived quite early but were allowed to use the facilities and grab some food while our room was being prepared, which was a great start to the trip. We booked a swim-out room—highly recommended if you’ve never done it before. It’s absolutely worth the extra cost. The grounds were beautifully manicured, with lush landscaping and a luxurious feel throughout the property. It’s a great place for a stroll, day or night, with all the lighting making it especially enchanting after dark. The hibachi restaurant was excellent, but make sure to line up around 3:30 PM to secure a reservation for the hibachi table—it fills up quickly, and they stop taking names once it’s full. We didn’t get to do the hibachi table experience but still enjoyed a delicious meal at a regular table. The Mexican restaurant was solid, and the seafood spot down by the water was outstanding—beautiful setting and exceptional service. There are still so many resorts we’d like to explore in the area, but we would definitely recommend Secrets and will most likely return at some point.

Summary: My wife and I recently returned from the most incredible stay at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos, and we can’t say enough good things about it. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and first-class service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special – even surprising us with an upgrade to the Presidential Oceanfront Swim-Up Suite. That gesture alone set the tone for what turned out to be a truly unforgettable vacation. The suite was absolutely stunning – spacious, beautifully designed, and steps away from our private swim-up pool with breathtaking ocean views. It felt like we had our own private resort within the resort. Every morning we watched the sunrise from our patio with coffee in hand, and every evening we relaxed in total luxury. What really stood out to us, though, was the service. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay perfect. Whether it was poolside, at one of the excellent restaurants, or just walking around the resort, we felt completely taken care of. The food was excellent across the board – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed the beachfront dining options and the romantic atmosphere at night. Summary: Staff was great, food was great and overall a very good experience. Big problem that besides dinner and a couple evening activities, it’s basically dead after 6pm. Not much of a nightlife time. Also, please stop pestering people who have already paid to be there by offering “free” items to sit through an additional point presentation.

Summary: This was a nice resort but imagine my shock when the bartender told me I could only have 1 shot a day. Yes they were limiting everyone to 1shot a day at an All Inclusive!! Sorry but when I pay for an All Inclusive I don’t want someone monitoring what I can and cannot drink. I’m not a big drinker but I like tequila mango shots thru out the day. That did it for me. Only other negative is that the rooms were very dark so ladies good luck in putting your makeup on.

Summary: It is a nice resort. Secluded. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food was not wonderful but okay. If you are a smoker - this is a non-smoking resort…only 2 smoking areas outside of the resort. Spa was good.disappointed with spider webs in our room.

Summary: This was our second time at this property. We love the staff and the property is very safe! Food is great and we love not having to make reservations at the restaurants. Wear and tear to the pool were visible this trip. But it’s a great place to stay!
