Positive: Cutest place ever, love the tiny stove, made the stay even cozier…. Wooden house is always my favorite hahaha. Linlin was a wonderful host, super helpful and the 3 kittens were so adorable 🥰 location is quiet, close to the lake but not touristy, still has the feeling of Dali country side. Would definitely come back next time💜

Negative: The toilet is downstairs, if use it in the middle of the night need to walk mindfully on the wooden staircase, I was fine but imagine it wouldn’t be very old people friendly

Positive: Very cozy hostel. Have everything I need: clean bedding, good facilities, quiet and beautiful environment. The kitchen is useful, specially when I wanted to make meals. And host is very helpful and friendly.

Positive: This place was absolutely amazing. The location is super unique, only locals around in the area, no tourists to be found. You can walk for 5 minutes and you’ll be back in the touristy area if you want for some coffee, breakfast or dinner though. The host is the kindest woman we met, Lin Lin and her husband Thomas helped us from the very beginning till the end. Because of a road blockage they both came to pick us up with their scooters, drank some thee with us and made sure we were all settled. During our stay they made everything possible for us. We could rent their scooter for the day, got all the tips and even all the local insights. The accommodation is beautifully designed, the area downstairs is really cozy with the wood burner and the bedroom upstairs felt really peaceful and was just beautiful to wake up in. The garden is very lovely too. It was an extra layer to our China adventure, and probably the best accommodation we stayed in. Don’t hesitate, Dali old town is just 10m away, give yourself the treat of this experience. 10/10, would love to come back!
