Positive: The house has absolutely everything you need and if you’re traveling with dogs like we did, it has a big garden where they can go for a good sniff around. The bed is probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Since we were traveling with a big trailer, the location was perfect since we found parking on the street super easy for the trailer. They also offer parking on site. Stephan is a super host, communication was great and he was very helpful with the late check in, parking and breakfast. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer!

Tucked away from the street, quiet, and beautifully presented — you'd never know it was there, which makes discovering it all the more special. The property itself is stunning. Modern, spotlessly clean, and furnished with real thought and personal touches that make it feel like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep. The garden is a genuine highlight — peaceful, expansive, and home to the most characterful residents: peacocks and chickens wandering about, which was an unexpected delight and had us smiling in the morning. Stephan and his wife were wonderful hosts. Warm, welcoming, and just the right amount of present — close by if you needed anything, but never intrusive. You could tell they genuinely care about the place and the people staying there. Getting into Ghent was a breeze too — a lovely easy route from the back of the garden, past the willow trees, and straight into town. It felt like having a secret shortcut that made the whole stay feel even more magical. This is the kind of place that stays with you. Genuinely special, lovingly maintained, and hosted with real heart. We'll absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Positive: Stephan was so friendly and helpful. He met us on arrival and made us very welcome.He showed us round the property and pointed out all the facilities that might be of interest to us. Thankfully for us, his English was excellent. The property is light, well equipped, airy, beautifully clean and presented. The beds were comfortable, the bedding and towels were fresh and clean. We planned to go into Ghent centre for the evening, Stephan suggested a number of travel options. We chose to drive 5 mins to the P&R Arsenaal Gentbrugge, parked our car for free and took the tram in. A very reasonable 3 euros each way. The trams are frequent and run later into the evening than the buses. Stephan suggested a couple of breakfast options including 15 euros per person in the property with eggs and jam from the garden, we decided to buy provisions in the supermarket Carrefour which was very close by. Coffee and a coffee machine were provided in the property, which we enjoyed. Parking for a couple of cars right next to the property. We had such a lovely stay, it was perfect for us.
