Positive: Lovely mountain lodge in beautiful area

Negative: We were not that happy with the information we received from the information stand in Valgrisenche, they recommended a very tricky trekker a family with children. Be warned to check if you are un unexperienced trekker. (This has nothing to do with the housing obviously)

Positive: The location is perfect; beautiful views and great hikes a few minutes away. The apartment is spacious, light and clean. The staff are helpful and responsive.

Negative: The cheap toilet rolls (and not enough for a 5-day stay). No wine glasses. No microwave. No basics such as salt, sugar and oil.

Positive: We stayed in the One-bedroom apartment in Ceré. Very cozy place in a historic building with wooden interieur. Large living room and well equipped kitchen. Everything was sparkling clean. Free parking on public parking lot close by. Good WiFi (not to be expected at this somewhat remote location). About 15 mins drive up Valgrisenche from Arvier. Valgrisenche is a very quiet valley, great for hiking and relaxation. We will happily come back! Hint: Each apartment is at a different location in the valley, so make sure you drive to the exact location provided by the host, not to the address listed in Booking.com. While there is a small supermarket and a few places to eat, it is better to bring everything you need with you.

Positive: Very comfortable, lots of space (we were family of 3), kitchen has everything needed, clean and cozy.

Negative: Apartments are located in a building at the road, above the farm, so the smell was not pleasant outside and when we opened a window in the bedroom. Also the farm looks quite poor and almost abandoned so it gives not a nice impression. Maybe in summer it looks different but in February it felt quite dark. However owners gave some options to resolve it so highly appreciated.

Positive: Nice location if you like to walk and live the mountain; possibility to book apartments close with friends; warm inside; parking available in front of the building; kind staff.

Negative: The cleaning was too bad, also the quality of the kitchen furniture was absolutely not safe (old and damaged pans); all the doors have glass on them, this is a problem for a little bit of privacy (even in the bathroom); in case of snow, be prepared to have an appropriate car and equipment because the street is really dangerous under certain conditions.
