Unwind in this tranquil, private retreat. The Lodge is set on 8 secluded acers of forest, plus over 300 acres of USSF land. Enjoy serene mountain and wildlife views from the expansive deck. While you'll relish the solitude, adventure is just a short drive away—explore Blueridge and Blairsville (15 minutes away), local wineries, orchards, scenic trails, The Scenic Railway, and Nottely/Blue Ridge Lakes. Night Sky Lodge is a 1,000 square foot home nestled on the hillside just feet away from the National Forest property line. The home is a quarter mile from the nearest neighbor and sits at the end of a private 1000 foot driveway. The the open floor plan in the kitchen, dining, and living areas accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably. The home was designed to maximize living and entertainment space so sleeping areas were kept minimalist. The primary's bedroom features a california king bed while the alternate guest room is furnished with a twin over full bunk bed with a trundle. There is one bathroom in the home with shower/tub combo and washer/dryer. A wood burning stove is located in the living area and can be used during the months of October - March. The home was designed as energy efficient but still boasts basic modern amenities such as AC, heat, standard kitchen appliances, etc. The spacious 560 square foot deck includes outdoor seating, an eating area, a hot tub, and a chiminea fireplace.
The home accommodates parking for up to 3 vehicles. Boat, RV, and ATV/UTV trailer parking is available at the bottom of the driveway.
We have worked hard to ensure the property (our home) is clean, free of allergens, and safe for all guests. We kindly ask our guests to respect our house rules. We ask for non-smoking and pet free guests.
If the house has evidence of smoking/smoke or pets/animals inside the house or on the deck/patio a $250 fee will be assessed. While smoking is only allowed on the driveway, no pets are allowed on any part of the property.
Wood Burning Stove: There is a video on how to use the indoor wood stove at the property. This must be watched before operating the stove. If you are not comfortable operating the stove, we kindly ask you refrain from use. We have a chiminea and outdoor firepit available for use as well for those . Only seasoned wood from the property's "general store" can be burned indoors. This wood is $10 per XL bundle and includes kindling and firestarters. Please call or text with questions regarding indoor/outdoor fires. Improper use of the wood stove can lead to smoke infiltration in the house and may require professional smoke removal/restoration charged to the guest. We want you to enjoy this feature, so if we can help you do that, we will do our best to walk you through it.
Please keep towels within the property. We know they are soft, absorbent and do a great job... but we really need them for the next guests 😊.
HOT TUB RULES

Summary: We spent 2 nights at night sky lodge and loved every minute of it. From the breathtaking Mountain Views to the outdoor blue tooth speaker no detail was forgotten. It was a bit cold when we stayed but the heaters kept the cabin warm. The views of the stars are night were unreal. When you step out of the cabin you literally hear nothing. Such an amazing getaway for our little family of 5. We loved the “general store” for our wood needs. We will definitely be back! Thanks Eric for sharing your piece of heaven with us. Summary: We so enjoyed our stay here. The view is amazing, I loved being able to watch the wildlife in the evening. It was the perfect size for our family vacation. Each kid had their own bed and they loved that. The house is well laid out and we felt so at home there. Hope to get back in the future!

Summary: This was absolutely phenomenal and exceeded our expectations in every way possible! The owner was extremely accommodating and very communicative. The place was so clean we could have eaten off the floor and the view was spectacular. I really can’t recommend this home highly enough. The owner did a wonderful job of letting us know exactly what would be there when we arrived. The only thing I would change is the weather… It rained the whole time so we couldn’t make use of the beautiful front deck area. On the other hand, it will just ensure that we visit again when it’s dry!

Summary: We didn’t want to leave. I enjoyed every single second at this property. We felt so at home. The peace was on of my favorite parts of the trip. This is a really good location for couples. Also, the drive was very scenic…. There was some civilization nearby so you could do some shopping if necessary… The view is stunning. Definitely at the top of my vacation/trip faves. Eric…. you guys really outdid yourselves with this one. Everything was perfect! I keep saying this lol…. Thanks again!
