Summary: The cabin over all was very clean, the pool table was rough and not level so my husband couldn’t use it for when we was there . I’m glad we always pack our own towels because each bathroom only had 2 towels and 2 wash rags , which I guess is fine but most cabins I’ve stayed at at least has a set of 4 each. The bottom bedrooms and bathroom was very cold and we had the heat wide open and it never heated the area(probably no installation) so I don’t suggest going when it going to be cold because you will freeze in the bottom part, idk how it would do being in the summer time or when it is hot but I would more than likely think it would never get cool down there either. The cabin is up a very steep hill which is fine they list that when renting it. The check out instructions were very straight forward however it said to start a load of either the towels or bed linen before leaving and I’m guessing the cleaners just put it in the dryer once they arrive … I’ve never had to do that. We’ve always been told to just throw all dirty linen in the showers so cleaners know, anyways…over all we were satisfied since we were just having a small weekend getaway and didn’t really spend much time in the cabin but the heating system could use fixing as well as a pool table upgrade considering the problems with it. This cabin would be good for just a weekend but maybe not a week stay.

Summary: Toilet issue in the bottom washroom, not the owners fault, the booking company was slow to respond and resolve the issue. That was the main problem. The pool table was well past it's prime and only enough silverware for about 5/6 people. Otherwise was clean, roomy, great location, and nice ice cold AC.

Summary: Great location but they could do a better job with the cleaning spider webs and the first floor smells like humidity there is some floor water damage from the AC on the 2nd floor they need to fix that, nice house hope they fixed

Summary: We really enjoyed staying at the Bass House. It was very roomy with the bedrooms spread out to allow for privacy. It was very clean and very comfortable. It was in a beautiful setting. We would definitely consider staying there again if in the area.

Summary: Me and my family loved staying here it was so homey feeling and a perfect view the only thing that sucked was the hot tub was out of commission which was a bummer but everything else was wonderful ! And very beautiful :)

Summary: Checked in on Dec 23 upon arriving the house was dirty the downstairs bathroom under the sink has a bad odor there was cob webs and dust bunnies everywhere. There was hair stuck in the tub drain that we had to clean out because the tub water wouldn’t drain the jets didn’t work for the jacuzzi tub. Our water went out the first night and we had to go to lowes and buy the part and fix it ourself we still have not heard anything about a refund on any of our money. The pool table is broke and dirty. The jacuzzi on the porch is not in working condition. The porch and railing are so nasty and need to be pressure washed. There is a soft spot in the floor in front of the couch as well and it is being covered with a rug. We had to spend over a half a day on our second day with no power so my husband could fix the water pump so therefore my mom was without her oxygen at that time. I will not rent this place again. Too much hassle. I would really prefer to have a full refund considering all the inconveniences we had on our first two days there.
