Remote location on 13 acres in the newly designated world’s largest International Dark Sky Sanctuary 🔭 with vast viewing area. Home to incredible birding with over 200 different bird species! Wildlife abundance! Claw foot bathtub for soaking, open kitchen and lots of windows
Two story main house is the rental. No access to garage and the ADU cabin may be occupied by property manager.
Two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room with full kitchen and dining area, on 13 acres adjoining BLM access to Summer Lake with mountain biking and hiking opportunities out the front door!
Summer Lake is a seasonal lake that is a dry Playa in the summer.
We are on well water and this area has a natural sulfur smell to the water (same as the hot springs down the street).

Summary: We needed a place to stay on the way back to Cali. This came up in my search and my daughter and i both loved the place. so peaceful and you just want to look out the window all the time. House has all you need and owner was very helpful. Download content ahead of you need but honestly we didn't miss the Internet (to my surprise :)
