Positive: The view was outstanding. The cabin was cosy and the gas heater was very handy when it got nippy.

Negative: The 'hot' water from the kitchen sink and the bathroom tap was tepid at best, regardless of how long we ran it, which was unfortunate but we managed. The shower hose had a large nut which meant the head did not sit properly in its bracket. This was a bit of a nuisance.

Negative: Bed was a bit too small for two adults so had to use the pull-down bed - which was a bit of an effort for 2 pensioners!

Positive: The cabin was in an amazing location, with incredible views. It had everything we needed for our stay. Space was a little tight for the three of us as we also had backpacks but the beds were very comfy. Our hosts were lovely and Mark very kindly offered to come and collect us from The Cuan, as it was a very wet night and he and Sonya didn’t want us walking in the rain!

Negative: We were happy overall with our cabin experience. We were a little unsure of the honesty box as any property we have been in previously has left the basics eg bread, milk, tea, coffee free of charge.

Negative: The cabin was a bit removed from the city center and there is not a taxi in the city but the view of the Lough and quietness more than made up for having to walk a bit into town

Positive: This is a delightful cabin with beautiful decor that really made me feel like I was on holiday. Facilities were great for such a small but beautifully formed cabin. I was travelling on my own and so the size was ideal for me. I will definitely be happy to return at another time as I live within a hour of the cabin. Thank you for a lovely stay.
