Positive: First visit to this particular beauty spot and it did not disappoint! Local bus service was exceptional meaning that we could use our bus passes to get to Whitby and surrounding areas without the hassle of finding a parking space. Runswick Hotel served superb meals with a friendly smile 😊this was a stones throw from our holiday home. The owners of this quaint home provided everything you could want….provisions were plenty, tea coffee milk etc….also the added touch of freshly cut flowers brightened our welcome to this lovely property.

Negative: The only negative comment we can think of is that we weren’t able to take advantage of all facilities as we were only there for a week……..

Summary: Excellent !Beautiful location, already recommended to our family 👍🏻

Positive: Great location! Beautiful views, plenty of space and lots of carefully thought out extra touches! The aga was fantastic to cook with and the wine, milk & biscuits went down a treat. A real home from home, would definitely love to stay again.

Positive: The location is amazing; you are by the sea yet in the countryside. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The hosts kindly provided fresh milk, wine, tea and biscuits. All very welcoming after a long drive.

Negative: The weather was amazing so an umbrella/parasol for the garden would have been great as there is little shade. This is just a very minor quibble. The tap in the kitchen drips constantly.

Summary: A fabulous well equipped and comfortable dormer bungalow with lovely views of the sea & countryside.
