Positive: Room was BIG, clean and new. Included a kitchenette. The AC was amazing. Beautiful view. It was our 10th anniversary, so the owner purchased us a gift, two amazingly delicious and decadent desserts from a local baker. We asked for early check-in, they accommodated us. We asked for late checkout, they accommodated us. Parking is immediately adjacent to the room. Laundry service is incredibly inexpensive here. 10 euros per load, and they'll wash, dry, fold, and iron if requested. Plus, they'll do this within 4 hours of picking up your clothes. There is ZERO crime on the island, excluding the cat that stole the pork chop directly off my plate.

Negative: It was a very narrow road to find the hotel, but the whole Island of Ikaria is just like that, so you just need to get used to that while on the island. There is a similarly named hotel abutting this one, which can cause confusion. Instructions for checking in should be made clearer, as there is no formal reception area. The owner or the hostess will meet you on site at your check-in time. They, just like everyone else in Europe, are on WhatsApp. Call/Text them there, that's my suggestion.

Summary: The room was absolutely amazing, clean, new with great AC. Customer service was incredible.

Positive: A stellar location near the port of Evdilos! Walkable to town but you do need a car to get around to good beaches. The property has a small chapel next to the pool which is astonishing and moving.

Negative: No basics in the small kitchen like paper towels, napkins, hand towels. No microwave. We stayed in Villa #1 and liked it a lot but it's not really a villa but a maisonette. Lower bedroom was not made up at all and that was strange having a bedroom and a bed with no sheets on it.

Summary: Kerame is an ideal into to Ikaria and at close to the heart of the port of Evdilos!

Positive: We loved our balcony view! So sweet. And the beach out front was a reasonable walk down and extremely peaceful and quiet. We definitely recommend it for those looking for a quiet place. Central to the Island, so good starting point for day trips. Very clean.

Negative: Too bad the pool wasn't open but we did end up going to our beach quite a lot.

Negative: Lack of transport options to and from town. Although being only a 20min walk it was in an elevated position making it challenging in the heat. A shuttle vehicle to and from town would have been useful or reliable taxi service.

Positive: One of best property you could find at Ikaria, location is great with stunning view of Kerame Bay and also few minutes to Evdilos town which is full of facilities (restaurants, cafes, shopping and lively nights). Room we stayed was spacious with two separate rooms, two bathrooms in a duplex suite. There is also a restaurant ( didn’t experienced) and pool facilities in the hotel. So overall great experience and value for money in Ikaria.

Negative: Kitchen equipment would be more comprehensive.
