Positive: Fab house, perfect for a small family, location is stuning, village shop/ beach within walking distance, and great pubs/ restaurants near by, everyone so lovely

Positive: The place was so charming and had such a beautiful view. We were a few seconds drive from a mini market and the best pub in the world, Paddy’s! We wished we didn’t have to leave. Owner was super friendly and responsive! House was cozy and comfy. Would be awesome to add measuring cups, measuring spoons and a colander to the kitchen.

Negative: The property management company is a complete nightmare if you need to get ahold of them. They send automated responses and never actually address your issue then say the window to discuss topic has closed. The furniture in the front bedroom is tight and awkward around the bed so both my husband and I hit our elbows every night and one night I managed to hit my eye and give myself a black eye.

Positive: View was amazing. The Host Des very nice but was uncontactable when there was a problem with gas hob and when microwave stopped working.

Negative: A number of issues unfortunately. I decided to speak with owner about our issues rather than document them as we seen him in the driveway as we were packing up to leave. Hoping they will be addressed for all concerned. Will never book a Sykes rental again as Cottage profile was misleading in some areas. Loved the area and will visit our beautiful stunning Connemara again soon but will rent privately or book through Bord Failte.
