Summary: I chose this motel because of its great reviews and the fact that I could park right in front of the door. My wife has some mobility issues and with the snow and slippery conditions, I wanted to be as close as possible. Unfortunately a pickup with a utility trailer had parked parallel to the building taking up the 3 spaces in front of our door. When I asked at the desk if they could help, he said there was nothing he could do. Obviously the inconsiderate driver of the pickup was at fault, but typically larger vehicles, especially those towing, are requested to not block other rooms. Our room was clean. It had a table and chairs which I always appreciate, but this table was broken. As we sat to eat our supper, one leg fell off. It appeared to have broken previously and was just leaning in place. Not the best experience, but hopefully this was not typical.

Summary: I stayed overnight at the Scottish Inn the night of the worst snowstorm to hit Massachusetts in at least 10 years. I called the hotel manager and he said it would be ok to check in a little bit early the brunt of the storm hit. The entire hotel staff was out numerous times during the storm shoveling and keeping the sidewalks clear.. The room was clean, comfortable, warm, and quiet. Dominos was able to get a really nice meal to me. I was very comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
