Positive: Breakfast basic but fine. No hot food except waffles and toast. Hotel was quite but close to the freeway. Good mountain scenery. No restaurants close, but Subway within walking distance. Gas station next door.

Negative: No particular dislikes.

Summary: Perfect location half way on our journey from California to Yellowstone.

Positive: The Scipio Hotel was a good place to stay on our travels. Very inexpensive, pet friendly, clean and a great location. Breakfast was included, which is always a plus +++

Negative: We have two fur babies and needed a safe place for them to get a little exercise and go potty after many hours in the car. The grassy areas were overgrown and full of stickers. It was in need of a good landscape cleanup. It made it look like it was abandoned or just unkept. This was the outside of the facilities but it was the first thing we saw when we pulled in.

Summary: I would stay here agin but without my fur babies.

Positive: This was at a convenient spot about halfway between Salt Lake City and the National Parks in the south of Utah. Beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast the next day was awesome.

Negative: If you arrive a little bit later, especially if you're booking on the road, you might need to call ahead to make sure the front desk is staffed. Not a huge deal, just a little bit of a wait and some nervousness waiting for the room key.

Positive: The hotel is easy access from the I-15 but it wasn't noisy. The room was clean and excellent value for a road trip stop. There were a couple of fast food spots nearby. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was fine. There was a variety of breads, cereals, hot and cold drinks as well as yogurt and fresh fruit. And the views at sunset were beautiful. I would stay again.

Negative: There could be more lighting in the main room. The bathroom was bright.
