Positive: Nice location near the berg. Very clean and comfortable room.

Negative: It was disappointing on arrival to hear that the restaurant and other facilities were permanently closed due to staff shortages. Had to travel down to town to have drinks and dinner. Breakfast was adequate. Had we have known prior to booking we would have found alternative accommodation.

Positive: The location is very nice and quiet. Hans and his whole staff are wonderful and generous. Since I think I was the only person in the hotel at one point, he made pancakes and bacon personally for me. He is such a nice man. Alexandra and her colleague also did a wonderful job with ensuring the room was very neat and clean. I look forward to returning again!

Negative: Nothing! It was great.

Positive: The room was nice and clean. Also, the staff was very accommodating in allowing me to extend my stay so I could stay longer with friends.

Negative: The walls were a little thin and I heard my neighbor snoring next door. Other than that, it was great.

Positive: Nice breakfast in a pretty dining room. Beautiful location on the hill, if it hadn't been raining we would have really enjoyed the trails. Please note: it's a walk up hill from the train station. I should have calculated that better since we didn't have a car! (My bad!) We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there was no staff working. We got the key from the key box, well marked and easy. Breakfast was vast and delicious.

Negative: It's a large hotel and with no staff there at all on a Sunday afternoon it was a bit unnerving. The directions were clear, so we had no problems but I've not experienced something like this. I would have liked to have been told that the restaurant was closed on Sunday at the time of the booking, that was disappointing.
