Summary: I recently stayed at the Scandic Sydhavnen and found it to be exactly as described. The location is about 20 minutes from the city center, but the local public transport links are excellent, and the hotel offers bike rentals which made exploring Copenhagen very easy. The room was clean and well-maintained. I was particularly impressed by the blackout curtains and the soundproofing; despite being near a road, the windows blocked the noise perfectly. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water, though I did notice the bathroom tiles are starting to show their age. Breakfast was a highlight—there was a great selection of food and the dining area is spacious enough that it never felt cramped. A very reliable choice for a Copenhagen stay!
